Minecraft review

Minecraft is a sandbox game of which the aim of the game is to build your own virtual world with cubes from a first person or third person perspective. The game was originally developed by Markus Notch Persson who started the company, Mojan AB, which has currently already sold 1, 3 million copies of the Beta version alone. The Minecraft world simply exists out of blocks and pixels, which are generated completely randomly. The principles of Minecraft are simple as you can break down and build up whatever and wherever you like. The game might look hardly impressive at the start; it will soon turn into a highly addictive game. Persson himself describes Minecraft as a fantasy, resource based first person adventure.

Currently the Beta-version for the game is available for download on the official Minecraft website; the final version of the game is expected to be released the 11th of November 2011. The final version of the game is expected to be presented on the MinecraftCon, which is a convention for Minecraft players hosted around this time in Las Vegas.
